Extremely rare First Edition map of South Carolina and Georgia by William Gerard De Brahm, published by Thomas Jefferys in 1757. Considered the most important map of South Carolina and Georgia during the British Colonial era, De Brahm first announced plans to publish a new map of the colonies in an advertisement in the South Carolina Gazette in 1752.
Included on the map are the Names of the Proprietors of Land in South Carolina and Georgia with their respected plats.
Lovely Cartouche resembling the colonies indigo trade.
